Today's update

I'm 22 chapters into The Darkest Whisper (there will be 30, I think)  After that I have to dive into the next alien hunter book or something else. . . something I will be announcing soon (so stay tuned.  Yes, I am a naughty tease!)

What else, what else. . . How about the fact that all three of my dogs are asleep under my desk and all three have major gas today and I can't leave the computer until I get the current chapter done.  And how about the fact that it will probably take me another 2 hours to finish the chapter, as it's been very slow going today.  

Also, I look like crap.  Just sayin.

The Darkest Night hit New York Times (8) and USA Today (42) again!!!  I can't tell you how excited I am or thank you enough!  This has been one of the best weeks of my life!  and you know what?  Let's not wait until tomorrow to talk about good news.  Let's hear your good news today!  

Girl's Night! Updates.

Jill Monroe and I had a slumber party last night to celebrate my #13 placement on the New York Times.  I had SO much fun.  We watched Over Her Dead Body (I thought it was very good, very funny) and talked and laughed.  Meant to take pictures, but alas, couldn't find my camera.  I think that's for the best, anyway.  We might have frightened small children.

I picked up Up Close and Dangerous by Linda Howard.  Can't wait to read.  

Though I've already read Warrior Rising by PC Cast, I ordered my copy (for my keeper shelf) and it should arrive any time.  It's THAT good.  Very sexy, very fun.  It's not to be missed!  I think it's my favorite book of PC's to date.

I'm up to chapter 18 on The Darkest Whisper.  Really loving the characters.  Hope to conquer chapter 19 tomorrow.
